Arcadier powers Frasers eStore, Frasers Property Retail’s eCommerce marketplace

  • Frasers Property Retail, leading mall owner and developer in Singapore, has selected Arcadier Enterprise to power Frasers eStore on its Fraser Experience (“FRx”) app.
  • Frasers eStore was deployed using Arcadier Enterprise’s headless commerce marketplace platform, being successfully integrated with Frasers Property Retail’s loyalty system and payment gateways.

Singapore, 13 April 2021 - Arcadier, the world’s leading online marketplace builder, is proud to power the e-commerce marketplace of Singapore’s leading mall owner and developer, Frasers Property Retail. Frasers eStore was launched in January 2021 with over 4,000 products and is available to all Frasers Experience (“FRx”) members.

The Frasers eStore was built to address shoppers’ growing preference for online shopping over the past few years, and the accelerated demand for retailers to offer their products and services both in-store and online. To ensure that both tenants and shoppers would benefit from the new platform, Frasers Property Retail envisioned an omnichannel retail platform that offers greater convenience and value-added services, which meant that the platform had to be easily integrated with their existing payment gateways and loyalty programme. By utilising Arcadier Enterprise’s marketplace technology, Frasers Property Retail was able to successfully, seamlessly and quickly digitally transform their current assets and deploy their own curated retail marketplace, Frasers eStore, in just 4 months.

The Frasers eStore offers a truly seamless shopping experience for shoppers and tenants alike. With a seamless “store-to-door” concept, shoppers can browse products from tenants across all malls of Frasers Property, place a single consolidated order from multiple tenants and have their items delivered directly to their doorsteps. Additionally, purchases made through the eStore will earn Frasers Points, which can be redeemed to pay for parking fees, gift cards, eVouchers or exclusive deals from the FRx app.

Arcadier’s robust and flexible marketplace features allowed Frasers Property Retail to respond to a wide array of specific needs such as location-based item tagging and integration into their loyalty program. Business analytics are tracked and performed across products, shoppers, retailers and mall locations, gathering invaluable business insights.

Commenting in an earlier press release by Frasers Property Retail on 1st September 2020, Mr Tan Kee Yong, Chief Operating Officer of Frasers Property Retail, said: “The launch of Frasers eStore marks the natural next step in our digital transformation journey with our tenants to further support them as they embrace digital solutions to find additional avenues to market their products, while adapting to changing consumer behaviours. The launch builds upon the success of the FRx platform, which was launched in 2018 to provide a truly seamless shopping experience. In addition, we hope that an omni-channel retail platform will offer greater convenience and value-added services for shoppers. Looking towards a post-pandemic future, we stand ready with our tenants to leverage these digital platforms to emerge stronger, more adaptable, and more resilient than before.”

As more brick and mortar stores turn to digital solutions to stay relevant to their users, it is predicted that the global e-commerce market will be worth $24.3 trillion by 2025[1]. Online marketplaces in particular are primed to disrupt traditional retail, already accounting for 62% of global web sales[2]. Commenting on Frasers Property Retail’s project, Gary Ramsell, Chief Commercial Officer at Arcadier stated: “Arcadier is extremely proud to have supported them in their digital transformation journey. Arcadier's modular and headless commerce solution was able to easily cater to their needs, allowing for a better user experience and value-added services. Arcadier looks forward to continuing to support Frasers Property Retail as they adapt to ever-changing consumer behaviour.”
