Arcadier Introduces New Marketplace Software Exzbit at IAEE Conference


SINGAPORE, December 2018 — Exzbit by Arcadier, the world’s most advanced marketplace platform for trade shows and exhibitions, was officially unveiled at the recent International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) Expo! Expo! in New Orleans, USA.  

Billed as the “show for shows”, Expo! Expo! is a meeting and exhibition by IAEE to provide trade show and exhibition organisers a platform to discover new solutions to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. 

A significant evolution in recent times has involved the movement of trade shows onto the digital realm, with face-to-face events being enhanced by virtual elements and “hybrid events“ where there is a mixture of online and offline elements are becoming prevalent. In 2009, a mere 1% of all trade shows were held online, but by 2017, the figure had skyrocketed to 26%. 

B2B commerce too has evolved over time. Total B2B eCommerce sales hit a record US$8.96 trillion in 2018, up from US$7.7 trillion in 2017. That figure is expected to rise further to US$12 trillion by 2020, as more and more buyers are looking to improve product and brand discovery, as well as to have the ability to engage easily anytime and anywhere.
